Students are urged to apply early and no later than November 30.
As a result of the state’s economic crisis and a $564 million cut to the California State University’s budget for this year, the system is forced to reduce enrollment by approximately 40,000 students over the next two years. Because of this, students may need to apply earlier than usual to maximize the chances of being accepted at Sacramento State.
Sacramento State President Alexander Gonzalez and CSU Dominguez Hills President Mildred Garcia held a teleconference with the Spanish-speaking media Thursday, Oct. 29, urging prospective students to apply for college by Nov. 30.
Application information is available at www.csus.edu/admissions/ or (916) 278-7766.
